Peace Africa Alliance Consulting, Educating and Training (PAACET) Centre is a private non-governmental and non-profit organization that was conceptualised at the European University Center for Peace and Conflict Studies (EPU) in Stadtschlaining, Austria in 2007. PAACET was fully established with legal status in 2015 in Alberta, Canada, where its headquarters is located. PAACET has its Africa Regional Office in Freetown, Sierra Leone.

PAACET offers consultancies both in Canada and abroad, mainly through partnering with existing organizations and other consultants in Sierra Leone, presenting trainings in traditional methods of conflict resolution, human rights training, healing & reconciliation, and other related areas.  Our work includes trainings at peace universities in Africa and Liberia, so far.  Within five years, we will expand to other African and Middle East countries as opportunities

Our Identity
PAACET is an independent not-for-profit international peace and human rights organization. We share common values and interests with likeminded organizations, institutions, corporations and associations to promote global unity, peace, human rights and justice to ensure a life of dignity and respect for all humanity regardless of sex, race, religion or ethnic belonging.

Our main objective is to contribute to the promotion and protection of global human rights, peace and social justice for all persons regardless of who you are, what you are and where you belong. We seek to achieve this through; 

  • Peace and human rights education and training, seminars, symposia, outreaches, lecturing and training in communities, schools, colleges and universities, refugee camps, private, government, and not-for-profit organizations / institutions  worldwide
  • Promoting human rights education at all levels for peaceful co-existence and the enjoyment of human and people’s rights
  • Enhancing effective partnerships and facilitating international and inter-group cooperation between and among peoples and countries
  • Developing appropriate strategies for engagement in policy dialogue and advocacy for effective policy implementation at all levels
  • Providing consulting services in the area of peace, human rights and social justice work including but not limited to:
    • Human rights and access to justice issues
    • Post-conflict rebuilding, healing and reconciliation
    • Indigenous reconciliation practices / Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR)
    • Ethical leadership training
    • Trust-building
    • Organisational Development / Community Enhancement and Management
    • Democracy, Good Governance and Rule of Law
    • Peace Education and Education for Peace
    • Children, Youth and Women’s empowerment including their rights promotion and sexual and gender based empowerment

PAACET will partner with any like-minded not-for-profit organization. In all partnerships, we seek to ensure constructive and best practice engagements.

As we move towards the realization of our organisational philosophy, PAACET maintains the following core values and principles;
